The Gender Advisory Group will be the advisory body to the National Commission for Women and Children (NCWC). It will be an important resource in the identification and implementation of gender programs and activities of the NCWC in its response to CEDAW.

The Gender Advisory Group will be responsible for advising the NCWC in its commitment to mainstream gender across all sectors of the Royal Government of Bhutan and the Bhutanese society.

The Gender Advisory Group will be comprised of the Gender Focal Points and professionals from national and international organizations working in Bhutan who have demonstrated commitment to gender in Bhutan .
